[ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

I don't think this would be terribly hard. Just opening up the framework-res.apk files in 7-zip I can find the png files used for the battery indicator, however I don't know the *correct* process to extract and repackage the apk without corrupting it.

Could the battery indicator from the NexTheme be put into a zip file also...i love that battery indicator and it goes great w/ the stock Apex 1.3.1 rom

I don't know if this has come up in here before, but I wanted the numeric battery icons back and was afraid that the update from 1.3.0 would revert some goodness from the framework in 1.3.1.

Does anyone know if there are any noteworthy differences between the two frameworks or if they are essentially identical?

I also was able to create an update zip with the nextheme battery indicator - it's basically just the goodies pack on page one with the nextheme battery icons added to the framework.

[EDIT] Updated the zip with the 1.3.1 framework that plower provided and the nextheme battery icons [/EDIT]

I'm having some problems using the emulator on this rom. I can anyone tell me exactly how to overclock using the terminal emulator?

Open Terminal Emulator
Type "su" without the quotes
Type "overclock" without the quotes

It should open up the overclock script which will give you several options for setting frequency/voltage, etc.

Whats up with the Dialer with this rom?> It doesn't show up. Any Ideas?

Nm found the problem...... Setting up the Density lower than 240 isnt allowing it to show up.. FAIL!

Thanks, I was just about to do this when I opened the thread first. Saved me some time dancedroid

Is anyone else having problems with email when using Corporate email??

I wasn't having any problems with it before ApeX, now I can get it to connect and it will work, but then random times throughout the day it will give me an error trying to verify settings, and when this happens it must try to reconnect a lot because it burns thru my battery.

Any ideas would be great!

Has anyone been able to ROM the orange splash of color that appears when you scroll to the end of the list from Gingerbread?

set cpu does not actually give you the ability to overclock - it only gives you the ability to set your clock speeds. But the jrummy app will give you the ability to overclock. it is only .99 so meh...

but you can actually use one of the scripts that Fabulous has provided to overclock.

open the terminal app... well, it is a long explanation. Fab created a wiki to help with questions. Here is the link...

Using Scripts - FabDroid Wiki

scroll down to the section about scripts and then look for the overclock section.

or just buy the jrummy app and be done with it.
