Try using blur email. In terminal:

su
email -mot

Is anyone else having problems with email when using Corporate email??

I wasn't having any problems with it before ApeX, now I can get it to connect and it will work, but then random times throughout the day it will give me an error trying to verify settings, and when this happens it must try to reconnect a lot because it burns thru my battery.

Any ideas would be great!

Whats up with the Dialer with this rom?> It doesn't show up. Any Ideas?

Nm found the problem...... Setting up the Density lower than 240 isnt allowing it to show up.. FAIL!

I'm new to the forum and was cursing my DX until my friend turned me on the ROMs. Since i've loaded ApeX 1.3.1 all the freezing, missed calls and phantom text messages have gone and i'm actually loving this device.

I have some questions i'm hoping you guys can help with. I'm running ADW Launcher and want to personalize some of the stocks icons. For instance I want to change Droid Contacts Icon to something better.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My weak theme attempt

I just figured I'd share this for anyone interested. I found that I didn't like any one theme very much with problems like menu's with text you could not see because the background and text was the same color.

I decided to just package up my favorite parts from other themes/roms and basically do an Icon swap on a bunch of stuff.

This package included updated settings.apk for more colorful items, Nexolution style notification bar, and my own blend of menu icons.

I take no credit for creating any of the graphics, I simply copied them from other packages and combined them to my liking. For the most part they came from the Nexolution theme for apex and from Darkslide 4.2 rom.

Let me know if you like it. Maybe I'll do my own someday. I had some ideas to go sort of fluorescent greenish with more items.

Installation:
Copy to sdcard, reboot to recovery, install zip from sdcard.

Anyone else having major battery issues since switching to 1.3.1? I had great battery life on the previous rom. I have to charge after 6 hours of use and I am using it very minimally. Any suggestions?

Mine battery life is great. I finally found a OC frequency that my X runs fast. Before it was good, and I started messing with it and screwed it up. Now I've settled in with medium voltage at 1.2ghz. But battery life is still good. I just underclock when the screen is off.

I have had apex on my for for weeks now which is way longer than any rom so far. I love it. My one question, i like using aosp messaging instead of mot but i cant send ringtones in texts using asop. Says file is to big, but i can send it when i switch back to mot. My boys are always wanting new ringtones so i am always changing back and forth. Its easy to change so not a huge deal, just curious if you make up file size on aosp.

If you use ti back up you could always just freeze that app. then unfreeze when you want to use it again, pretty easy!
