Is there something we can type in Terminal to get a list of apps installed so we know what they are called in order to install/uninstall?

I go to accounts>add account>yahoo mail>enter info>get error message on 3g or wifi

Same thing is happening when I try to add my hotmail same steps but click on email not yahoo

Hoep that helps a little... is there another way to set it up? No biggie for me since the only one i use day to day is my gmail

What happens when you go directly to the Email app to try to add Ymail or hotmail?

Absolutely love the ROM...only question I have is...with the new home screen when on the dock...can we keep it from going to the black/green screen saver?

I think it just does that after a while to prevent burn in (though LCDs are not quite as susceptible, it still happens. My TV can testify )

su
cd /system/app
ls

That just lists everything in your system/app folder.

I actually figured it out...did some google searching lol ...to disable the green and black screensaver go to NEVERMIND...it just prolonged it

WORKAROUND: Download Alarm Clock Plus V2 (free) ...it looks exactly the same

So i installed this rom and was really looking forward to testing it out...upon reboot the phone is stuck at the M, not sure what i messed up and where...im rooted with leaked 2.2 was running ZapX RC1, please help...

Seriously why did you stayed with leak 2.2. I recommend you flashing sbf of 2.1 then from there start over.

just realized what i did, i formatted system, data and cache and mounted then hit reboot....without install zip (FML) same process as you just mentioned?

Yeah, same end result (empty /system partition). Unfortunately, the recovery environment was wiped, so the only way out of this is to use the sbf file.

Can people who are having Yahoo! mail issues let me know what they're doing to add the account?

I just reactivated my old Ymail account, put the address and password into the email app and it synced right away.

Remember that anything but Gmail is not push on Android, so there will be delay depending on what you set the refresh period to be.

So i think im screwed, ran the SBF and it just reloaded to the bootloader...

So I installed the GalaX 1.5.2 with the Grey taskbar and I'm loving it! However, it appears to have installed some of the blur apps.

How is everyone installing their favorite themes and still keeping it with as little Blur as possible?

Yahoo worked for me using the email app.
Still can't get exchange to work.

Why would you update to this rom over a leak 2.2 LOL Rom as part of the os not full installation of 2.2 thats for sure, depend on what rom this rom only took out blur and tweak out stuff we don't know to make it faster.

I didn't make sense. Okay when you have a leak version of 2.2 you can switch back to 2.1. But official 2.2 can not switch back to 2.1 because they chance the boot thingy. Infact if you're on official 2.2 then flash back to 2.1 guess what you just fked up you're phone. I just wanted to point that out incase you and other people didn't understand me. Rom is part of os plus the changes they done.

Try it out. It's already fk up anyways. Do back to 2.1 still if that wont get you're phone booted to the os then just wait for the official full 2.2. The sbf 2.2 there is right now is not a full 2.2 operating system of official over the air.
