[ROM] ApeX for Droid X - An AOSP Experience

I've been on this "ROM" for a few days now and I'm having a strange issue which I'm not sure is the ROM or the phone or my setting. On an incoming or outgoing call I can't hear the person on the other end, but they can hear me. It was fine before switching to this ROM - I was on the OTA 2.2.

Sometimes it's the other way around where they can't hear me , but I can hear them - it's really strange and might force me to restore my backup.

Has anyone else experienced this or able to offer things to check? I've been going crazy trying to solve this.

Actually I had that problem way before this rom on the leaked froyo but it happened every once in awhile very random but haven't had it happen since I got a new phone so it could be an hardware issue.

I was able to install this rom on ota 2.2. I noticed my notification stopped working just forgot to where to go to see if its a setting

Same, I got to 20% yesterday pretty fast. With the same type of normal usage on .13 I would've been at about 50-60%.

Same, I got to 20% yesterday pretty fast. With the same type of normal usage on .13 I would've been at about 50-60%.

I was one the OTA three days ago and would get though the whole day and when I went to bed would be about 40% 50% battery. The last two days with the same usage I was 10% ready to die. I actually didnt make it to bed last night before it died.

I'm on Rooted OTA. Themed and DeOdexed via 928droid's update.zip.

If I want to try this I have to use 928droid's back to stock DeOdexed update.zip correct? Or can I install ApeX as my phone is now and be OK?

My Droid X is currently rooted and running a stock OTA 2.2, odexed, build.

One question I had that I don't feel has been explicitly addressed in the thread is whether or not this ROM can be applied to an odexed 2.2 build. Will the ROM automatically deodex the system similar to 928Droid or Tranquility 2.3.8? Or does this ROM need to be applied to an already deodexed system?

I know of the various ways to deodex the system (via 928Droid's theme, manually, etc.), but was looking to avoid the steps and potential "leakages" between ROMs and themes unless need be.

I had the same question about the being odexed. I took the plunge and followed the instructions and it went well. It roots and deodex for ya. So I would do it. I was on ota 2.2 rooted

I need to get visual voicemail. This rom doesn't show the blur one and when I install the verizon, it says I already have one installed and it uninstalls. I need to know where the blur visual voicemail is. Thanks
