Just so you know Fab, I went to the toolbox (newest version) to enable the legacy boot animation (android logo) and after trying 3 times now, it just boots with a black screen until the OS is up and running. I changed it back to the Apex one in the toolbox and that works fine still.

Did you leave out the old boot animation file or something?

EDIT: Also, does the update from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1 (without wiping cache or data or anything) not save certain toolbox settings or something? For instance, my homescreen icon for blur text messaging is now telling me it cannot launch the activity. I had to change it back to the blur suite in the toolbox then it fixed the app and shortcut.

Otherwise, so far so good. No FCs at startup! Thanks.

The toolbox does this. The ROM .zip file has the AOSP set to default. So when you updated and flashed it had the AOSP messaging, which is why it couldn't find the blur. So all the toolbox's defaults were applied when you updated. It has nothing to do with cache or data.

Okay, thanks..easy enough. Basically what I figured. Now just need an answer to the boot animation issue..

What boot animation are you trying to use. Make sure it is named "bootanimation.zip" <exactly this.

Anyone else have a problem with the blur sticky note widget? When I write something in the note and exit, it doesn't actually change the widget. I have to open the note again and exit for it to refresh the widget. Also, the blur weather widget just doesn't work at all, after I input my settings nothing happens. Minor things, definitely still the best rom out there.

While we're talking about GMail, any one notice the update broke the stock GB theme icon for Gmail? The notification icon.

Noticed that too, the icon showed up fine (Gingerbread grey style) before the Gmail update, now it shows the regular icon in the notification bar.

Ok so I am trying to go blurless. Only problem us that I can't get.my email msgs will not load. It shows them there in the notification var but not when I open email. I am on 1.4.1. I wiped the cache upon update. Thanks

Had this problem too. Couldn't get any bootanimations to work after selecting the Legacy option in apextoolbox Goodies. Updating to 1.4.1 brought back the APEX animation. Then I used bootstrapper to install my custom bootanimation.zip without selecting any options in Goodies.

Has anyone tried removing the blur launcher and/or adw launcher via the toolbox. I'm almost positive that once I remove the blur launcher my phone starts going ubber slow.

I'm trying to narrow down exactly what's causing it, but I'm 99% sure its the blur launcher. I wonder if something is dependent on it and constantly freaking out after its gone.

I use LPP, so I figured I don't need the other two installed.

the rom that is. I hope they have some cool themes and battery Mods ....cause im not a fan of the gingerbread icons.

i wish i could report the amazing battery life everyone seems to be claiming...

Honestly, my battery life is terrible.... Today i got a little over 9 hours before i had to recharge with moderate use (with an extended battery). I just dont understand what i am doing wrong

This rom is great but i feel like i would need two extended batteries to enjoy it.

I'm with you on this one. My battery lasted only 11 hours yesterday before it completely died on me. I left the phone off and charged it last night, wiped battery stats this morning and after 3 hours I've already dropped 20%. If I can't figure what is killing my battery, might have to go stock and use Tibu to freeze apps I don't like etc.

DLed the ROM and ran through ROM Manager, booted up fine, but won't connect to google servers?

Definitely wiped data/cache beforehand.

Any idea on why it won't connect to the setup server?
