[ROM] Zero Blur! Zero Lag! rubiX Focused 1.0

Go to super user in the app trey, then forget Rom manager, go to rom manager, then reflash clockwork mod, then reset the permissions, reboot your phone, go back into ROM manager and click reboot into clockwork recovery, then wipe/clear and install from SD. Done.

He can't get passed RubiX bootanimation in order to get to Rom Manager app

pulling the battery then booting the phone should load the bootstrap... even if it doesn't you should be able to clear cache via the default loader

I cleared the cache still goes to rubix right after it boots up but no further

hmm you followed all the steps exactly?
I did not wipe to begin with so I guess no.

Holding home down when you put the battery back in.. then hitting search button (IF you get the warning image) should take you to the stock recovery, you can wipe data/cache there.. ***might*** let you in.
Worth a shot (can't remember if you've said you've done this or not)...
But.. maybe, just maybe, it'll save you from an .sbf..

Good Luck!

Are you sure that you had it installed before, and the Google Data Backup was restoring your apps? (2.2 feature, first time you open Market, it'll attempt to restore your apps. TIP: After changing ROMs, I always enable wireless before opening market for the first time, and don't reboot for a while after hitting market for the first time.

Between the Google Data Backup (if you checked the box during setup), and appbrain, I always get all my apps back. No restoring required.

Sorry, I meant per Market, it shows that ZTA Technologies Terminal Emulator is installed. (I never installed any Terminal Emulators, so whatever comes in Focus 1.0)

I don't use Google Data Backup, and currently don't have AppBrain installed. Do you show Terminal Emulator when you pull up the list of programs? I do show Term.apk in the \system\app directory, though no shortcut made.

Maybe Google Data Backup restored Terminal Emulator for you, thus no problems on your end perhaps? /shrug heh

Bleh, ya.. Google Backup restored terminal emulator via the Market. :P I didn't even notice it was in there. :(
Looking at the ROM, I DO see the file, so you're spot on. heh. Good stuff!

I'm glad I'm not losing it :) I installed Android Terminal Emulator as a work around.

So what method do you use to restore data/setting files for programs since you use Google Backup and does you recommend whatever method for folks? Or does Google Backup restore data files as well?

I saw that Titanium Backup can create an update.zip but it sounds like that covers just apps and not data? Thanks for your or anybody's input.

great rom :D

I cant seem to get 3g mobile hotspot installed again
useing team black hats .zip file to install and it not working. anyone get it?

Ive got the same problem, and I REALLY need this back. I will have to go back to the Tranquility or another rom if I can not get this back : ( Fission is the same way. Any ideas?

ok had to sbf now i cant load any rom ive tried without going into a bootloop

So... every time you reboot, you go to bootstrap? or ?
Sorry, more details would be helpful as to exactly what's happening.. I'm confused.
everytime i reboot it sits on the m logo

And you can, or can't get into recovery? If you can, which recovery.. is it blue with only 4 options (android recovery), or is it the clockworkmod recovery?

If you can get into either recovery, and you wipe cache and data, do you get the same thing?

If you can't get into Clockwork recovery (most likely you can't), and the wiping of cache and data doesn't help.. then you'll be .sbf'ing soon. tons of info on this at rootzwiki.
