For some reason none of my apps are actually downloading from the market...they all just say "downloading" for the past hour. I can't cancel and download one though.

Having exact same problem after installing a theme over rubix 1.0. This has happened in the past with other rom/theme installs too, usually end up having to wipe again to fix it. If anyone knows a quicker method to resolve this other than hard resetting please let me know

When this happens to me i figure its just too many things getting downloaded at one time. Usually all i have to do is cancel a couple and click install and it takes care of itself...well thats how it works for me anyways

Did you just install the .zip file in the second post?

No mounting or anything required?

Exactly what I've had to do as well, I just canceled all then went in one by one.

Any ways to get that Black Bar mod in your theme post to have a transparent white background instead of solid white?

Yes there is. Here is a link to instructions on changing the background. I just did it. And it worked great. You can use one (background) from the XDA post- they are transparent- but kind of dark...

Two small issues I've found so far that I don't think has been mentioned. First, in the E-Mail app (not GMail), I cannot change the notification sound. On .3 and .5, never had an issue, but I can't for the life of me change them now. Second is I prefer to use LauncherPro so I removed Launcher2 and installed LauncherPro, just as I have in .3 and .5, but I no longer get the unread mail count for GMail on the dock of LauncherPro. It worked in .3 and .5 and I know its part of LauncherPro, but could the rom somehow be blocking that feature?

The unread count isn't that big, but the sound for EMail is big. At work, I have different sounds for my e-mail accounts so I dont' have to take it out of my pocket each time it goes off because i know which account is which by sound.

You can set them individually in the email app itself. In settings.

what happens when you hit "cancel" on the application? Have you tried long pressing on the app from the application selection screen, and choosing cancel there?

Once you cancel one, try reinstalling one by hand. they **should** just go.. unless the phone gets rebooted, or .... there's a problem it's not happy about.
