This is a solution for the mobile hotspot not working. It only supports ad-hoc mode but this should be sufficient for most people's use. Your work computers probably won't work but that's about it.
I didn't notice this reading the thread but I could have missed it - is there a glitch or anything in the battery reporting? Or is the battery life THAT good? I am on 4 hours unplugged with consistent use and still at 90% remaining. Can that be right??

It's seriously ridiculous, that's why I'm wondering if it's right! Haven't run any video or anything but have been texting, sending MMS, twitter, browsing web. I actually allowed myself to turn my phone brightness to Auto for the first time in months lol (usually have it around 9-10%)

I can't explain it. I've been unplugged for 5 hours, oc'd to 1.25, 20-30 emails, forum time, browser time, changing boot animations, and downloading files and am still at 80%. Best battery life I've ever gotten

How long ago did you install the ROM? It might take some time to adjust. Also did you charge it all the way up after installing? Wipe the battery stats after? (I didn't do that but some say it helps.)
It doesn't sound like your battery life is terrible really, give it some time and see what happens. I also have my battery manager on Maximum Battery Saver. I don't use the twitter, facebook, or news widgets.
