I loaded this Rom not on the leaked ota but on the other version of 2. 2 and I have to saythat I forgot what stock Android looked like. I missed my OG Droid but so far this Rom has made me love my DX again. Great job.
Im on the leak, 2.3.15
First of all, this ROM is amazing. No slowdowns, battery life is through the roof... Pure butter.
A couple of questions/issues:
I came through 1.8.9, followed by 1.8.6 (to avoid battery life issue), to 1.9.0, no-leak. On every version, my battery manager (when it does not FC) shows 70-95% of battery life at any given point being used up by Screebl. Anybody else use Screebl and if yes, do you see the same effect on this ROM? Again, I saw this through all the Focused versions. Force stopped and cleared cache/data of the battery manager multiple times, cleared general cache as well, nothing changes.
Does LP still mess with the new transitions? I downloaded the transitions patch, but if LP messes them up anyway, I have to either ignore the patch or start learning AWD
Other than those two - hog heaven. Drod, have a few red bulls on me, sir.

What you are seeing from Screebl is normal. It's a graphical glitch.

I thought the glitch applied only to cell standby. Good to know.
Thanks a lot for your help, Ink. You and Sephtin have been invaluable to this ROM. Truly.
Will it show up like a app, or .......how do you it use the patch.
You install it like you installed the rom. Put the zip on your SD card...reboot into recovery and apply the patch by selecting the zip from the SD card. Will it show up like a app, or .......how do you it use the patch.
How can I use the patch...where do I go why do I do please help?
Ok, well performing the "fix permissions" via ROM Manager did not do the trick. After fixing permissions I rebooted both DX & PC.Looking back at a pm to another guy I was helping with this issue refreshed my memory. If fixing permissions doesn't work, I also saw a suggestion to wipe the data of usb 1.1 w/ titanium backup. I remember that I had to uninstall the drivers from add/remove programs rather than from the device and then reboot. If that doesn't work, search on your PC for Motorola Driver Installer and do the clean & reinstall, then reboot. There is an update option there as well.
If you would report back what works for you, that may help others that run into this.

Then I launched the Motorola Driver Installation on my PC. I then did a "Clean and Reinstall" and again rebooted bot DX & PC. This seems to work now. I can unplug my DX and then reconnect it without any problem charging or reading DX data. dancedroid
I took an extra step to see if there was any difference in just pulling the USB cable out VS using Safely Remove Hardware first. There was no difference.
All of this leads me to believe that the Moto drivers got corrupted somehow.
I hope this helps someone else if they run into this problem. thanks again for those suggestions compchick813.
Just FYI: Windows XP Pro (32-bit) & DX specs in sig.
