rubiX Focused 1.9.0 Leak/Non-Leak

sbf'd back to stock, ota to .340, and reflashed rubix 1.9 leak version. with .340 it had the system version correct, now with rubix it is incorrect. i know the OP says it will do this, should this be the same even though i have the .340 official?

Something seems off there. I updated to .340 with the TBH patches and am getting 1434. I never actually go by quadrant scores, but that is quite a drop.

Thats what I thought as well. I ran it about 3x and all the same results. Cleared cache, reboot, and back to 1614 :icon_ banana:

This is just a quick question, my volume rocker and camera button are not working anymore, any ideas?

EDIT: I should also note i am on the leak with version 1.9 however the system settings says the system version is still 2.3.15 even though i came from stock 2.3.40 and installed the leak

I think the 2.3.15 is because you didn't run the patch for 2.3.340 (patch is just update build.prop file updating that one line) Drod had left it 2.3.15 so market would work right until the official update was out.

As for your volume and camera buttons......I got nothing. Sorry. Did you try pushing really hard?

Also, just to cover the bases, have you rebooted the phone to see if that fixes anything?

Edit: Looks like the patch actually does a bit more than the build.prop. Either way, I would doubt that lack of patch would render those buttons useless. My above statement still stands as far as why you see 2.3.15 due to not installing the patch though.

Was gonna say. All that work I put into the patch.. It doesn't JUST update build.prop.. it does as it says, it updates 1.9.0 from being 2.3.320 compat, to 2.3.340.

If the buttons are not working, could be some kind of app conflict, or could be a theme, mod, or something done to the phone.

First thing I'd try, is reinstalling Focused again (don't wipe data/cache). This will remove any themes/mods/etc., but shouldn't affect your apps that are installed (etc.). See if that fixes it.
Then, any changes/mods/etc. that you had, you can TRY to install them again one at a time, and test the buttons as you do...

I'm pretty sure that the reinstall of Focused will fix the issue.. but if reinstalling Focused doesn't work, then I'd try wiping data/cache, and see if that fixes it.

Let us know what fixes it for you!

Sephtin, Yeah I was quick to apply the edit there because I didn't want to make less of the work you did. After I wrote it I knew I must have been wrong . Sometimes I'm hasty, but I also do my homework...

Well I do appreciate all the help gentlemen, however it seems after a quick reboot everything is up and running again. I think the phone (and myself) were both tired at the time of that post.

Newbie here...downloaded Rubix 1.9 focused and now I can't seem to get anything to stream..ie..Youtube, Nfl Mobile and Sunday Ticket. Anyone else having this problem or have a solution? Thanks in advance!

Most likely, you grabbed the wrong version.

Are you still on 2.3.15? If so, you want the non-leak version
If you've updated to 2.3.320, or 2.3.340, then you want the LEAK version.

Whichever one you have, it's probably not the right one.

Then again all this custom ROM stuff, themes, SBF's, flashing is all pretty overwhelming...maybe I should just stick to keeping my Droid stock.

Drod made some fancy transitions that you saw when you switched between screens. I believe when 1.90 was released he forgot to put them in that version. Naturally, we all screamed like little girls so he gave us a patch to add them back if we wanted to.

These are installed just like ROMs are at least all the ones i have seen.

1. save the zip to your SD card
2. bootstrap
3. reboot into nandroid
4. install the zip from your SD card, where ever you saved it.
