Edit: After looking at that.. I believe it's the GB dialer.
Awesome! Thanks.

I just updated from 315 to 340. Then installed rom. Everything is great. Super fast and smooth. One BIIIIIG problem though!!!****
I lost all my photos but one in my sd card. I also lost all my music album art and videos. Does anyone know what happened??? I tried using OI and Astro to browse card.
Question. I manually updated myself from .320 to the .340 baseband, kernel, system, and bootloader via individual files and verified it was all there. With that said, should installing this ROM be a safe bet even though my .340 update was not OTA?

He said he's on 2.3.15... so I wouldn't .sbf to 2.3.320, I'd .sbf back to 2.3.15, and update to the OTA directly...
If you're on 2.3.15, can you just .sbf directly to 2.3.320, and it'll update your baseband/kernel/mbm to 2.3.320 directly?
I've never seen confirmation of that working as an upgrade path... ?
.
Well I did. Not saying it wasn't possibly unique and I got lucky but I sbf'ed from 15 to 320 and didn't have any issues other than I couldn't go back. Not saying its right or wouldn't brick someone but worked for me without incident. I am ocd enough that I too would sbf back and to the ota if I could.
I actually did the update similar to yours but I think it would be easier just to do the ota just because you are supposed to apply each tbh patch separatley and reboot between. Its just a lengthy process. But then again if you do it that way you always have a full sbf to fall back on only having to apply the patches when done. Both methods will still get you to 2.3.340

If you've .sbf'd from 2.3.15 to 2.3.320, and then updated to 2.3.340 via the kernel patch.. does about phone show your kernel as version:
2.6.32.9-g55626e1
?

Ya got me on this one...
Those are stored on SD, this shouldn't happen.
If there was some kind of sync issue, it's possible. I mean, when you sync with the PC, and tell it to import all photos (etc.) there's an option to delete.. so I suppose it's possible that for some weird reason, they were somehow removed...
In fact, I have hard of people loading ROMs, but I don't know if it was ever determined what the cause was.
That sucks. Guessing you never sync'd your pics with your computer... ?
sephtin, will your DX_Camera(BlurCameraFromFission).zip work with 1.9.5? Thanks.
I believe it does (I tried it in an early alpha version and it worked fine.. so it should)...
Here is a question. I have been monkeying about between this and apex. really like them both, RubiX 1.9.5 is winning except for one thing. Moto did something right with their camera. and i was wondering if anyone had the current 2.3.340 camera about?
It looks like Rubix is running a non-stock camera thats been out for some time, which is fine. just really got to like the other. if any of you want an example Apex 1.3.1 has it (only reason i started there is because they beat Rubix to the 2.3.340 support)
I'm also curious, was there something in the camera preference?

I never backed up my photos... but I fixed the problem!!
Somehow they get lost or mislabeled on the sd card. Here's the link to the fix. This program even brought up old photos that I deleted a long time ago. Dam this saved my ass!!!

Does anybody know where I can find the DX video player apk? I liked the stock DX video player in previous rubix builds, it played quite a few different file types.

Hi!! Awesome ROM!!
After the ROM upgrade however:
Trying to run the scripts from the first page of this thread using terminal emulator (especially the office script), but not getting any restults. I am running these from the root folder. But I am getting the following errors:
mount: Operation not permitted
failed on 'system/app/QuickOffice.bak' permission denied
mount: not permitted
Restored Quick Office app
I am getting this type of error on all scripts that I attempt.
What is the best way to run these scripts and what are the gocha's?
Sounds like it's failing to mount system as RW... which requires root.
Just guessing.. but what happens if you run "su" before running the script?
Hm.. I should of added the hosts file by default, and seems I overlooked the actual file... The other scripts should work.. I'll check them out and see if I can't fix them.
