Second Android Update 2.2 Froyo (FRG22 Rolling) Out Now

FRG22D, OTA hit me so get it since its rooted, deodexed, busyboxed...Droid - FRG22D, rooted, deodexed, busyboxed

I know it doesn't matter, b/c I'm rooted and have the final .apk anyway, but I flashed this and still I'm not seeing flash in the market... is there a date it's supposed to be available?

also can't get the new google search, new voice search, or google maps to install either

Well, at least that looks like the same kernel that is in FRG01B. I'd been slightly worried since the announcement that the 800 MHz-enabled kernel in stock 2.2 was a bug and not a feature.

Info is so scattered and unreliable at this point on flash and this 22D that I've have become numb.

I got the same thing. I just accepted it and SPRecovery blocked it.

Right, but running FRG22D I shouldn't be getting that notification at all. Unless VZW's system is all crossed up on itself... which wouldn't surprise me at this stage.

I'm not seeing all my downloads in this update in the Market. Things like Home Run Battle 3D are not coming up.

I had the issue when I first went to the "original" 2.2 as well. They all showed up eventually.

hmmm…what's eventually? a day, a week? I thing I ran FRG22 leaked for several days and the market wasn't fixed.

update.zip should not be affected. Droid can always be rooted with universal androot, right?

I think universal androot doesn't support D1 with 2.2.
