App Widget Picker included (Can't remember who made this, anyone know?)
BUG: won't sync w/ facebook so i have like 10 contacts
Nary an issue with syncing with any app here.
I try to avoid such grand anouncements, but so far this is without question the most stable, fastest, and bug-free ROM I've tried on my X.

well apparently my Dx does not like being under clocked, over clocked or anything else for that matter....:icon_evil: Anyway, some of you may remember a few days ago (running 1.6) I lost the capability to send MMS messages with both the stock app and handcent after a random reboot due to instability from an underclock setting of ULV 100000,800000,500000,350000. I restored the ROM and all was well again but did not try OC/UC again. I installed 1.8 and decided to try and UC again to improve my battery life. After trying a couple of settings and having the phone just reboot immediately upon running the script..i found one that seemed stable (LV 110000,900000,700000,400000) so i exited and immediately tried sending a MMS using handcent...NO GO! So i tried the stock app..NO GO! I cleared the data (for some reason clear cache was greyed out and not available) on both apps and tried them both again..Nothing. I uninstalled Handcent and just tried the stock app again..nothing..I reinstalled Handcent and tried again..still nothing. I can receive MMS and can send and receive regular texts but it will not send a MMS message. the little circle just spins and the stock app just says sending...
The next thing I tried was to restore my nandroid backup I made just before experimenting with underclocking when everything was working fine...guess what? IT STILL WONT SEND MMS on both apps.
I am completely lost as to what to do next except install everything fresh and then just not mess with the over clock script again but that really pi**es me off because I really would like to have the battery life several have posted about.
Sorry for the long post and dialog but I wanted to make sure I wrote down everything I tried. Is this a bug? can anyone else duplicate this issue?
Just as a side note....everything else on the phone seems to be normal. I do not have any themes or anything extra installed other than the ROM and 33 apps.
Many Thanks in Advance for the help. I love this ROM and want to get this problem fixed.
Hey sephtin, any chance you know where i can just get like a white inverted circle icon to apply to the rom? Thats all i want to change is the battery icon.

Only have one guess for ya.. to try clearing data/cache for the messaging app:
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> all tab> Messaging
Force stop, clear data, clear cache, try it again.
If that doens't work, then something else terribly wrong.
I was having a few problems with this rom so Septhin recommended a Factory Data reset and now everytime I go to reprogram my phone it gives me programming unsuccessful
reprogram/activate whatever
help please
I'm just going to give it a try in the morning.. I mean the phone is working and everything..
It feels really ****ty though when it feels like you ****ed up a $500 phone, I mean I guess not having it programmed shouldn't be a problem because I should be able to call them up and have them do it for me.
bleh

I hear you.. 2 things to keep in mind.. from where you're at, you still have several options to restore.. you should be able to get into nandroid by reinstalling droidxbootstrapper from market (worst case scenario, by wifi).. or you can always .sbf from a computer.
Your phone is fine.. it just needs a little love, and it'll be ok. The issue you were having is a weird one, and I'm just hoping that after going through all of this, it's fixed! :S
If when you try them again, it still won't activate, calling them should do the trick... although keep in mind that if you tell them you've rooted, or that you're modding your phone that they'll make a little note on your account, and you may have some troubles getting warranty support... :S... (Warranty officially voided as soon as you rooted the phone.. but meh)...
In any case... GL. As I stated in PM, send me an email or PM to let me know how it goes!
*Edit: had to confirm my suspicion... It's not you. Called to "reactivate" my phone.. unsuccessful. it's VZW, so no point in stressing, it's not your phone...
Install went perfect via Clockwork. Rebooted and its stuck on the Rubix animated logo. Any suggestions?
Ok...3 questions...
#1- anyone tried the blur camera on 1.8.6 yet? If so, any issues?
#2 is it possible to install both the AOSP camera and the blur camera? That way one could select which to use at any given time?
#3 is there a way to remove ADW w/o replacing it with Launher2? I saw the patches, but looks like they swap them, and I have LPP, so no need to have ADW sitting around...I know ChevyNo1 includes a script to remove ADW and has suggested that if we choose to use another Launcher, we should remove ADW as it could take resources even when we aren't using it (I checked, it does run in background while I'm using LPP)
Ok, sorry for the long post and for posting a lot of questions here...

Batt pull, hold down home button while you put battery back in, keep it held till you see the M logo. Should take you to android recovery (little droid with a ! in a triangle, hit the search button to get to the menu. From the menu, wipe cache and data, then reboot... Should get you into Focused...
