My phone app will not work with another rom except for fission, because currently these two are the only two rom's to use a phone app OTHER than blurphone.
The majority of themes will work with the majority of roms, but AOSP or AOSP-like roms are a different breed. As this rom has a full AOSP app folder aside from 4 or so apps, it would break function to replace them with non aosp apps, and same goes for the framework
make a little more sense?
How can we get a camcorder button? Unless I'm missing something, the only way I can get to the camcorder is pressing the camera button first, then switching it to camcorder.
how do you apply the patch? i would like to put the AOSP camera in there, but everytime i overwrite the files onto rubix, it won't install.
Can do it via ROM Manager, or direct link:
ROM Manager > Download ROM> DRod2169> CHANGE OPTIONS...> Download button>
then select which keyboard you want, and which camera you want, and hit ok to reboot and install.
Direct Download:

This is more of a general question. If I move my apps to SD card (for those that can) would I have to download those apps again if i wipe data and cache???
Also...The Launcher on Focused...is that your own program? How would using LPP over it affect your ROM? Thanks
I hope you are OVERWRITING them in Clockworkmod Recovery and not just the app.

Sorry, you totally lost me? Are you asking me to explain the patch and install script for it, and how/what it does? Or, ?

Sorry, it was kind of directed toward Aohus with the links you gave him. I was rereading what was happening to him. I was hoping he was using your links and using them in clockworkmod instead of unzipping them and trying to install overtop in side of android.

Don't know about apps to SDCard, but some thoughts:
The idea behind it, is phones that have like 2g internal memory, (couple of the galaxy S's are like this I think)...
Also, if you're going to do this, you can impact the performance of the apps, based on the speed of your SDCard. The card that comes stock with the Moto DroidX is a Class2 SD Card. The class is essentially how many MB/s it can achieve. The SDCard is pokey compared to the Class 6's that are available (then again, Class 6 cards are EXPENSIVE)....
Short answer, you **can**, but not sure how to go back, and/or unless you have a faster SDCard, I'm not sure I would... S:
So more system space the better it will run, right?
Having same problem with g talk fc

Uhmm, Kind of? more /system space is good... /data is a separate mount point (user installed apps are stored in /data/app).
So, kinda? Still not seeing huge benefits for moving user apps to the SDCard for our phone...
