The IX theme works if you do an advanced restore of a clean RubiX 1.0 backup in Bootstrap AND you wipe data/cache. Since you are restoring after the wipe you will have the data saved in the backup, so there is not alot to setup. I always post that after an initial install of a Rom a backup should be made and call it Rom_naked, now you can always fall back to the backup wipe data/cache and apply a theme.

Loving the speed of focused...although...i couldn't get the camera patch to work. In rom manager nor manual flash. But I did just .bak the camera and installed the blurcamera.apk....anyway...my question is everytime I try to install a theme from the second post...i have important apps deleted...like phone, contacts, camera, etc lol I even lost the ability to connect to the network! Can someone please give me some insight on why... lol

Yeah, unfortunately the service is already running. I tried turning off debug mode but no luck. Is there a way to set it to PC mode when it hadn't recognized that it's plugged in? I've never seen it but maybe I'm missing it.

That is strange that your phone doesn't recognize that it is plugged in. I think you should try re flashing the rom, or you might have to sbf, then reinstall.

It sounds like a very isolated issue that probably came about from not having a clean base you were installing to maybe?

Yeah it's pretty weird. I wiped data and cache when I installed, so maybe I'll try doing an sbf and see if that works.

In case anyone else runs into USB issues, I ended up doing an sbf and then a fresh install over the weekend. This time around, I didn't install the incognito red theme, and haven't had any usb issues so far.

Is this rom compatible with Onix Concepts themes? Gala X 1.6.1 in particular..

There have been reports that it does work, as well as reports that it does not. A few pages back, I believe someone stated that gala had caused them to lose all signal/radio/etc. But once in a while upon reboot, it would actually work.
Trying to recall other issues reported, but can't remember specifics... but there are issues reported.

The only known working ROMs right now for Focused, are in the second post.

Yeah for whatever reason you have to reboot TWICE evertime in order to get signal (first time no sig, second time signal), but for me its 100% consistant that way so I dont care, and I dont reboot very often anyways.

And had issues with the Gallery showing up odd folders..but I just deleted them from within Gallery and everything is good. They dont appear back and my phone didnt tard out, lol.

That was in a last "Why not" before I was going to SBF it and start over without the theme, but now as long as there are no issues popping up Im fine.

And running overclocked 1.3ghz @ medium voltage the phone SCREAMS and I havent had any FC's or reboots in 2 days.

This ROM is pretty awesome, great speed and battery Life. First tried loading without wiping data/cache and got boot loop (I figured this would happen but wanted to see)

Reloaded with Incognito theme. I had some issues with not getting service on Verizon on reboots from time to time. I reinstalled after a clean wipe and used Sephtin's black bar mod and the ASOP camera patch. everything is running smooth now.

I am having one small issue. whenever I get a notification it shows as 2 in the black bar. I'm not sure whats causing this, but am looking into it.

Anyway thank you to all who work so hard on this.

When I go to the battery manager, it force closes. Has since the beginning. Only issue right now. Anyoen else having it?

Battery manager seems to be a case-by-case, hit or miss type thing. If it doesn't function, I reboot and it works, reboot again it doesn't.. it's random :(

but heres an update to everyone asking about blur products in focused, etc.

HDMI port to 3d gallery is what i'm currently working on. I've been using Real HDMI with no problems on my focused 1.0 build.

Compass Calibrate is a bug i've been trying to fix, but it's not as high up on my priority list, as say, hdmi.

See, the point of Focused, is to give a full AOSP experience, not tip-toeing on any of moto blur, zero zip zilch none. To me, full AOSP gets rid of moto's dock and gives you the vanilla 2.2 dock, camera, etc. but I decided to keep the MT keyboard from moto because it functions THAT much better than the vanilla, at least in my eyes. Plus, it was voted that way :)

rubiX Blurry will be getting a HUGE make over, including HOW MUCH blur you want in instead of just the whole shabang.

^for the battery manager, try clearing the data of "battery manager 1.1" with Titanium Backup.

Although you may have to that every time it FC, it works right after you clear the data.

But then again...if you are clearing the data, does that leave you with nothing to see? o_O

Gala X is a blur theme. I tried it anyways (after backing up first of course) I got massive force closures on boot and had to restore. I ended up using the non-blur black bar theme noted earlier in this thread.

I opened Titanium Backup. Scrolled down all the way (or almost all the way), then click on "usb 1.1" Then Just wiped data (of the usb 1.1) from there.

If you don't have Titanium Backup, I don't know where else to find it.
