rubiX Focused 1.9.0 Leak/Non-Leak

I'm almost sure that my home button is functioning differently in this version if adw. Last version when u clicked the home button from an app I went back to thr screen the app was launched from. When in the laucher the home button took me back to the default screen.

Now the home button takes me back to the screen the app launched from but the desktop it does nothong. Any ideas?

Hmm, when I open an app from one of my other home screens (not the center one).. then from within the app, hit home, it does bring me back to that home screen...
I don't ever remember it taking me back to the appdrawer, if that's what you mean?
What do you have your default home button bound to in:
Menu> ADWSettings> General Behavior> Home Button Binding...
Wonder if that could be why?
I have mine set to "Show previews"... If I hit the home button from within an app, it takes me to the home screen (the one it was launched from).. if I hit it from a home screen, it gives me previews...

Edit: Double checked... I renamed /system/app/ADWLauncher.apk to .bak, and am using latest from the market.... that might make a difference? Not sure.

Not a chick, COOLj. Yea this worked on whatever version of adw rubix used for 1.8.9. I'm not saying it should go back to app drawer. It should go back to the screen the app launched from. If I'm on a nondefault home screen it should go to the default screen. And by should I mean that's how I want it.

Hey drod and sephtin great work. Just installed 1.9.0 over 1.8.9, no data/cache wipe, just had to re load black bar and my widgets.

Running great so far.

Flashing a ROM without wiping at least the cache is dangerous, it can cause problems. Not flashing the data is a little scary as well.

Loving the work you do Drod! One thing though... anyone else having MAJOR market issues? I will not install updates no matter what I do. I experienced this in the nonleak version. Since the full 2.3.320 sbf just came out, I took the plunge and updated to the leak and resintalled the leak version of rubiX and still having the same issues. Anybody know a fix to this?

It depends on the user settings. Sync-GPS-email-phonecalls- browser-oc/uc. So many different things play a role. Its all in your setup. Seems like an unaswerable question

AFAIK the cell standby is still just a graphical error that carried over from previous versions, Drod is working on a fix. For now, use the spare parts app as it is much more detailed.

As far as battery life, I'm on the leak and mine has been unplugged since 9am EST and has had wifi on and connected the whole time. I have terrible cell service at work as well. Currently I'm at 80% although I do have the extended battery. I have been on it quite a bit for short calls and data this morning though. And I just wiped battery stats yesterday afternoon. All in all I'm seeing a big improvement coming from 1.9.3.

Edit: I also have everything but weather on the most frequent data checking interval, brightness set to auto, gps and autosync turned on. Forgot to mention though, that I am running stock frequencies but at jrummy's ULV voltages.

Hmm I can't even get into the battery usage window without it force closing on me. I thought it was supposed to be fixed on this leak? With 8hrs moderate-heavy usage (text messaging, news reading, phone call, YouTube watching, tweeting) I just hit 60% on 750mhz ulv on an extended battery. Not sure if it's great battery life but it's good enough for me lol. I may go back up to 1ghz.

On another note is anyone getting the extra tab to say related? Mine says similar even after clearing data. Does it really matter? Does it have to do with Drod's note that the market version still says .315?

I hear ya, I hate the froyo gallery too. Its so screwy for me for some reason.unfortunately from what I've read there doesn't seem to be a working one for the X on blurless rims like focused. They tried taking the gallery from the droid 2, but it was a no go.

USB Connection Problem....Fixed

Looking back at a pm to another guy I was helping with this issue refreshed my memory. If fixing permissions doesn't work, I also saw a suggestion to wipe the data of usb 1.1 w/ titanium backup. I remember that I had to uninstall the drivers from add/remove programs rather than from the device and then reboot. If that doesn't work, search on your PC for Motorola Driver Installer and do the clean & reinstall, then reboot. There is an update option there as well.

If you would report back what works for you, that may help others that run into this.

Ok, well performing the "fix permissions" via ROM Manager did not do the trick. After fixing permissions I rebooted both DX & PC.

Then I launched the Motorola Driver Installation on my PC. I then did a "Clean and Reinstall" and again rebooted bot DX & PC. This seems to work now. I can unplug my DX and then reconnect it without any problem charging or reading DX data. dancedroid

I took an extra step to see if there was any difference in just pulling the USB cable out VS using Safely Remove Hardware first. There was no difference.

All of this leads me to believe that the Moto drivers got corrupted somehow.

I hope this helps someone else if they run into this problem. thanks again for those suggestions compchick813.

Just FYI: Windows XP Pro (32-bit) & DX specs in sig.

I am loving 1.9....undervolted with custom settings yesterday and have been unplugged since 0530 CST and have had a couple phone calls, handful of texts, about 30 min worth of chat on Gtalk and streamed one video....battery is at 80%!!! woo hoo

I haven't seen any bug list updates, but the vibrate feature isn't working for notifications on my phone. It vibrates for calls only.

I've triple checked my notification settings in the text messing app (using stock messenger) and in the phone settings. I've tried using different vibrate patterns too.

During install, I wiped data/cache. Using non-leaked version.
