Second Android Update 2.2 Froyo (FRG22 Rolling) Out Now

Well I got a second ota pushed to me last night. It was 45mb and as I said it was the second push in a week. Like the first one I allowed the update but sprecovery blocked it and it went away.
I don't know if it was the second update or the first one trying again.

I hope it fixes my issue otherwise it will be my second droid going back for warrenty issues.
My alarm clock is set to go off at 4:30 and 5 a.m. and pretty much every morning one will ring and turn off fine and the other will not give me the pop up. In the notifications bar it will say that the alarm has been dismissed but it still rings. I tried everything to turn it off and nothing the only way I have found is to turn the actual phone off. I have done a factory restore and the same issue cames about. Never had an issue before frg01b

ainkiller:Why would you lose root? Can't you just let FRG22D install, then use universal androot to root your D1?
Can't find hide-nor-hair of this puppy anywhere...dubious that it has been sent out as of this a.m., contrary to the thread's OP.
It seems like the only ota's sent yesterday proved to be of previous builds...

recently received 2.2 froyo update on my motorola droid. everything seems to be working fine, except watching movies that are in the mp4 format. these movies worked very smooth under 2.1 (original system on phone), but now they play jerky, like the frame rate is too slow. i've redone the movies in mp4 format numerous times, and tried different movies to no avail. has anyone out there encountered these symptoms? does anyone know of a fix. really like the phone, other than this glitch.

No you should still get it.
And as for the updates yesterday, seems it was few and far between. When they said the update will begin today, that could mean 11:59pm tonight..

There's a "froyo solutions" thread floating somewhere around here...someone may be able to help you there.
This one's about the upcoming second froyo update and when/if it will come, what it includes, etc.
The update we are discussing now is in addition to the update you already received.

ya seems dubious to me as well ... has it even been confirmed that frg01 hit every one not rooted or manually updated?
I mean with the adobe shindig in swing one might imagine vzw pushin frg22 even while fr01 is still rollin' but I personally doubt it
