Verizon Set to Alter their Upgrade Policy

I got this thing called the c phone. The only key it has is the letter c. It's made by cinco. A little tim and eric show humor.

Everyone keeps talking about being grandfathered for 1 year upgrades because they signed 2 years prior to Jan 16. That's probably not true.

The 1 year upgrade is not something they contracted with you. It's a courtesy they extend to "high level" customers. I think we're beat.

grandfather for the ne2 taking place sooner than 20 of your 24 months.

The NE2 never comes early it's @ 24 months no matter what. It used to be 100 bucks but as of last year or so they made it 50.

The 2 year pricing was extended to customers after 12 months if they were primary line holder on a 49.99 or higher voice plan (it might have been 39.99) or higher.

NE2 and 2 year pricing are 2 separate things. Although, I saw that NE2 is gone as of Jan 16 too.

*Streches arms out* ahhhhh..

Feels good to have insurance provided thru Bestbuy and not Verizon lol

I don't like what that is leading to. But really. Some of us can't afford to pay full blown out retail for phones. If we want to upgrade yearly this "annual" option is the only way.

This is messed up... If im stuck with a phone for 2 years, then im wanting a two year warrenty. This policy is horrible.

There is an extended warranty available.

I know that, but the normal warranty covered the main life of the phone, now it only covers half the phone. This is ripped off because this really forces you to buy that extended warranty.

Whats the point of warranty if you have insurance?

OK. Great. You can get the same exact model that you have if your's breaks. I still don't see how that's germane to the thread but maybe it's me.

What does insurance got to do with it?

Its pretty self explanatory... Do I really have to spell it out? lol

No, You know the rules here on that subject.

Didnt hear anything come out of my mouth lol...

Maybe you should read up more about Bestbuys insurance policy... ;)
